Dr. Akanksha Joshi
Post doctorate
Akanksha started her work with
the group in December 2021 as a Postdoctoral student. She completed her Ph.D. in 2021, from the University of Delhi, India.
Her Ph.D. work is on “Design and Assessment of Defects Rich Electrodes for Supercapacitive
Charge Storage”. During her Ph.D. work, Akanksha developed her skills in
material and electrochemistry.
Before Ph.D., she acquired her bachelor's and Master’s
degree in Chemistry, from JMI, India, and then did a research internship in
Heterogeneous catalysis under the guidance of Prof. A. Sakthivel, from the University of Delhi, India.
During her internship, Akanksha developed her interest in structuring materials through
different methods; one of them is a template-assisted method. Later on, she utilized her experience in structure modulation of materials in designing electrode materials for supercapacitor applications. Here, in
Noked’s group, Akanksha is working on developing cathode material for Na ion battery
application using the high entropy concept.
