Dr. Arka Saha

Arka completed his Ph.D. in Material chemistry from CSIR-CSMCRI, a national chemical laboratory, under the council of scientific and industrial research, India in April 2018. During his Ph.D. he worked on the development of Molybdenum based Nano structured materials for electrochemical application.

Arka joined Dr. Noked group as a Postdoctoral Researcher in August 2018. He worked on developing various functional artificial cathode electrolyte interphase (ACEI) through atomic and molecular layer deposition techniques (ALD/MLD). In-depth electrochemical analysis of those surface-modified cathodes in stabilizing Li-ion battery cells' performance and analyzing the cell failure mechanism. Arka also worked on developing high-voltage cathode materials for Li/Na-ion and all-solid-state Li-ion batteries. 

After completing his post-doc study at BIU (August 2018-April 2022), recently, Arka has started working as a senior battery researcher in a battery start-up company in Israel to expand his knowledge from lab-scale research to the industrial level.
