Dr. Sivan Okashy

Sivan completed her B.Sc. at Bar Ilan University, and her M.Sc. in 2012 (Cum laude), under the direction of Professor Aurbach. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Prof. Aurbach’s lab investigating the synthesis, structure, and electrochemistry of materials for use in Li-ion batteries and supercapacitors. She is expected to complete her degree in 2016 and plans to pursue a research career in renewable energy and energy storage.
Sivan joined the GSD (Graduate student division) in 2014 as the representative from Bar Ilan to help create a platform to provide research, job, and networking opportunities to the chemistry students of Israel
