Swapnil earned his M.Tech. in Solid State Materials from the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in 2019. Then he joined Prof. Sandeep Pathak’s research group in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi as a Junior Research Fellow (2019–2022), where he conducted research on the development of antimony chalcogenide solar cells. Subsequently, he continued his work in this domain within Dr. K. Ramesh’s research group at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.                                                                                                                                                                     Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Malachi Noked, focusing on the design and mechanistic understanding of atomic layer-deposited metal fluoride coatings for Li(Mn,Fe)PO₄ cathode materials. His research aims to advance the development of high-energy-density and sustainable lithium-based batteries through precise surface modifications and interfacial engineering.
